So next time somebody says, “Sorry to have kept you waiting”, you can reply, “That’s all right, I wasn’t waiting. I was just standing here enjoying myself – in joy in myself.”
Acceptance means: For now, this is what this situation, this moment, requires me to do, and so I do it willingly.
Wisdom is a deep understanding and for wisdom to arise you have to become comfortable in not knowing. Not knowing is the source of all true knowing. Humility also comes from not knowing.
The soul is your innermost being. The presence that you are beyond form. The consciousness that you are beyond form, which is the soul. That is who you are in essence
In Taoism, there is a term called wu wei, which is usually translated as “actionless activity” or “sitting quietly doing nothing.” In ancient China, this was regarded as one of the highest achievements or virtues.
The mind-identified state is severely dysfunctional. It is a form of insanity. Almost everyone is suffering from this illness in varying degrees. The moment you realise this, there can be no more resentment. How can you resent someone’s illness? The only appropriate response is compassion.

The basis for true change is freedom from negativity. And that's what acceptance implies: no negativity about what is. And then you see what this moment requires: what is it that is required now so that life can express itself more fully?
